Marion Le Pen, an MP for the Front National has claimed migrants are “not all fleeing war” as she criticised the proposal to create 12,000 housing placements for Calais Jungle dwellers across France.

Speaking on the French radio station, France Info, the niece of Marine Le Pen said that seeking asylum has become a new way to get into countries for illegal immigrants.
The niece of the leader of the FN said: “All migrants are not fleeing war.
“Unfortunately, the right for asylum has become a new channel for illegal migrants.”
The far-right politician said that many people seek asylum because they know that from the moment they do so, they cannot be asked to leave.
Although the Calais migrant camp is being closed, Ms Le Pen said that it would be recreated in another part of the country.
She said: “From the moment where you allow these illegal immigrants to enter French territory because of the lack of French borders, you will continue to see tens of thousands of people arriving each year. We need to address the problem at the source.”
The young MP is concerned that 949 housing places have been proposed for the area where she is an MP, Vaucluse.
She said that the new migrants to her area will cause integration issues as it is one of the poorest in France with a high rate of unemployment.
The French Government is attempting to sort out the chaos in Calais by forcing thousands of migrants to board coaches to 160 “welcome and orientation centres” hundreds of miles away.
The Government wants to get rid of the camps in Calais and have created 12,000 places in these centres across France.
However, many people are critical of this new plan.
President of the opposition Republicans in the Provence region, Christian Estrosi said that it would only create “many micro jungles at the heart of our regions”.
The MP said that Islam can be compatible with the French Republic, but she said that Sharia Law was against what the Republic stood for.
