The billionaire Virgin boss became the subject of an investigation by the Information Commissioner's Office this week.
A political firestorm was triggered after the company released CCTV footage of Jeremy Corbyn that appeared to contradict a claim the Labour leader had made about being sat on a busy train.

And now Corbyn’s right-hand man John McDonnell has slammed Mr Branson and branded him a “tax exile who thinks he can try and intervene”.
The tycoon has reportedly paid no UK tax since moving to his luxurious private home Necker Island three years ago.
John McDonnell has hit out at Richard Branson
Mr McDonnell said: “Run off to tax exile if you want. But you leave your titles and your honours behind when you go.”
The calls for Mr Branson to be stripped of his knighthood capped off an eventful week for the tycoon after he was also injured in a bicycle crash.
